I just recently discovered I Heart Faces, and I’m in love! There’s amazing tutorials, tips and tricks for photographers, plus TONS of eye candy!

Each week is a new weekly photo challenge, so I’ve decided to put in my entry! This is a photo of Ryan’s sweet little chubby toddler hand and his great-grandma Christopher’s. It was taken a couple of years ago, but it is still one of my absolute favorites!

It’s amazing how babies so quickly go from this:

I had such a fun time taking photos for little E. And I take absolutely NO credit for the set-up of this photo shoot. Her mom coordinated and brought everything, including those adorable pom-poms she made herself. Thanks, Susie, for letting me play with her again! I love it!

It’s a cold, dreary, snowy day today. So we resorted to window art. Ryan chose to make his own sun (in green) to brighten the room a little bit. We love these Crayola Window crayons. They can get messy, but they wipe off the window very easily with Windex.

There’s nothing like taking a dip in the pool in the middle of February! (Especially when you’re almost 8 months pregnant and the weightlessness feels soooo good!)

The boys had so much fun, and thought it was really a treat to be able to swim when it was cold and raining outside. Poor little Ryan is so skinny though that no matter when we swim, and no matter how warm it is outside the pool, he shivers uncontrollably!

Kyler just pretty much was only interested in running his trucks around the edge of the pool.

Happy Valentine’s Day! I love this day. It’s fun. And cute. And red. And full of yummy things to eat. We started this morning with made-from-scratch waffles, complete with strawberries and whipped cream…and plenty of syrup.

After church we came home and made chicken cordon bleu, asparagus and mashed potatoes for dinner, complete with strawberry lemonade. Yum! The boys got books and skittles from Matt and I, and Matt gave me a gift card to go get some new baby essentials. I’m actually debating whether to spend it on baby essentials (“essentials” being the key word), or spend it on new clothes for my post-pregnancy body. I’m sure the essentials will win out…which is fine.

Would you have ever guessed that this little one did NOT want his pictures taken? He wouldn’t even work for candy! But, we finally found the magic trick to get him to show those cute little teeth!

And with his sweet baby sister (who incidentally wasn’t in the mood to get pictures done either!). But wait till you see how cake saved the day!

I totally love those last two pictures. The yellow frosting on her toes was so funny, and we told her brother he could have some cake with her, and he was like, “Are you kidding me? Look what she did to it!”

Such cute kids!

I guess since I don’t have girls of my own, I can at least be extremely grateful that I get to photograph them. This little one is killin’ me!
