July 26, 2010

The challenge this week is anything purple! Here’s my entry!

Happy 24th!

July 24, 2010

Happy Pioneer Day to all my fellow Utahns! We had a wonderful day, full of running 10Ks (Matt did. Not me. Let me be clear. It was NOT me.), shopping (that was ALL me), barbecue and canoeing with friends, and fireworks to end the night. Hope you all had a wonderful day too!

BIG IDEA FESTIVAL!

July 22, 2010

Wanna take a FREE class over at Big Picture Scrapbooking?? I’m so excited about this!

Sign up HERE to be a part of the Big Idea Festival! Basically it’s a group of scrapbookers (including ME!) who created three different projects from a cute Cocoa Daisy kit. There are instructions for the projects and just tons of amazing eye candy! Again, this class is totally free–no strings attached! Just head on over there and SIGN UP!

The challenge this week at I Heart Faces is “Over My Head.” Here’s my entry!

Less Than 24 Hours Old

July 18, 2010

I was thrilled that this sweet little baby’s mom asked me to go take some pictures for her at the hospital, just one day after she was born. I absolutely loved being able to include the hospital stuff in the photos–the newness of her sweet life. It was just such a tender time that I got to share with the family. Thanks again for everything, Amy!

I’ve decided to do some serious updating of my blog. I can’t guarantee that I’ll be consistent, but I’m finally at a point in the summer where things seem to be slowing down a bit and I can actually take some time to share some of the THOUSANDS of photos I’ve already taken this summer–yes, thousands. Both of clients and of my own little fam. I’ve decided to start with three beautiful seniors that I had the opportunity to photograph a couple of months ago (yes, it’s been that long!). Each shoot was so unique and each girl was so unique. I LOVE taking pictures of cute girls who actually WANT to have their photos taken!

Meet Alea (who happens to have the prettiest hair I’ve ever seen):

Meet Daniele (who happens to have the most FLAWLESS skin I’ve ever seen!):

And finally, meet Kendra (who happens to have the loooongest legs I’ve ever seen!):

Next time…a ONE day old newborn (yes only ONE day!–not even 24 hours old!) and a couple of stinkin’ cute kids!

At Three Months…

Head: 95th percentile

Height: 95th percentile

I wanted to take a picture that really showed just what a fatty he is. I think this one will do. Check out those thunder thighs!

The third in my series of photography classes is now available for registration over at Big Picture Scrapbooking! This class is for advanced photographers, that know how to use they’re camera well in aperture- and shutter-priority modes, and are ready to make the leap into manual mode. It’s packed full of information! Class starts July 29th.
