Hey, I  just wanted to let everyone know that registration for my next class begins soon! Here are the details:

“Get Out of Auto Mode”

4-week class

Price: $59

This class is for those people that own digital SLR cameras. I realize there are a lot of “cross-over” cameras that may be able to function the same way as an SLR. You’ll need to determine for yourself if you think this class will be beneficial.

WEEK 1: Basic settings, basic zone/icon settings, quick re-cap of composition and lighting techniques

WEEK 2: Using your camera in Program and Shutter-priority modes

WEEK 3: Using your camera in Aperture-priority mode, handout on lenses

WEEK 4: Focusing, white balance, flash, and post-processing

That’s the basic run-down. The class after that will be all about using your camera in full manual mode. We’ll go into detail about ISO, shutter speed and aperture and talk about how they all function together.
