Baby Creations
March 5, 2010This is the first time I’ve actually had enough ambition to make something for one of my babies. I can be crafty, but I do NOT sew (I don’t even own a sewing machine). So I enlisted the help of my mom. I told her I wanted a nursing cover and a car seat canopy. So I picked out and bought all the material and she went to work.
I LOVE how these turned out and can’t wait to use them. Thank you mom!
I did, however, make a little something all on my own to put above the baby’s crib. I didn’t take the time to get the photos just right, but you can get the general idea of the mobile I made:
It was a little tedious, but I love how it turned out!

susie: those all turned out great! so cute.
Sue: I love, love, love that dragonfly mobile! So cute. Your Mom did a great job on the cover and shade.
Heather Bird: I love the mobile! So adorable. And I love what your mom made, especially the car seat cover fabric. I almost bought that fabric for something (what? I do not know) but I loved it! I don't sew either and when I asked for a sewing machine for Christmas last year, Ken said, "Um, I think you should think about that a little longer." Guess it was his way of telling me that I have enough going on. Needless to say, I didn't get one for Christmas and I am still not a seamstress.
shannon: Oh my gosh, I love them all!!! I've been wanting to do a "chandelier" like that with butterflies for kara's room but didn't know how! Can you teach me? That turned out SOOOO cute!!
Angie Lucas: Oh my gosh! These are all completely adorable!
Karen Wade: Your mobile is so dang cute! I just love it.
