Camera Equipment for Sale

March 22, 2012

I’m selling some camera equipment that I no longer use. All of it is in awesome condition–and most of it is brand new. The two camera bags I’m selling are so great! I’ve loved having the Crumpler bag and this is a great one because they don’t even make it in these colors anymore!

Below is a list of what is available and the link to the listings. I’d prefer to sell locally, but I can ship it if you’re willing to pay the shipping costs.

  • Crumpler 6 Million Dollar Home camera bag ($80)
  • Canon digital Gadget Bag 200DG ($40)
  • Canon monpod 100 ($20)
  • Stroboframe Flash Bracket WITH dedicated flash cord for Canon ETTL ($40)

Somebody Stop Me!

I have a new major obsession. Sewing. Why didn’t I realize how cool it was a LONG time ago? Oh I know. Because I didn’t have a sewing machine! Two Christmases ago I saved all my money and bought a very basic sewing maching. Matt was very much against it because he said I wouldn’t use it and it would just collect dust. To be honest, I actually kind of thought that it might…but then I discovered Pinterest and can’t stop creating now!

So here are just a few things I’ve made in the last little while, and I’ve got plenty more on the horizon! It’s just the coolest thing to be able to take a yard or two of simple fabric and create something useful!

This is probably my favorite so far. Such a fun ruffled skirt! I used the tutorial here for the basic pattern, then modified it a bit.

And here is a skirt I made a few months ago. I love it because it’s so unique! The tutorial is HERE.

Curtains for my family room:

Bibs for my little niece Maura (used THIS tutorial):

A much-needed cover for my sewing machine (TUTORIAL):

A small little cinch beach bag for carrying sunblock and bug spray (TUTORIAL):

Ruffled-bottom pajama pants for my mom with a matching pillow case (sorry bad pic taken with my phone). I loosely followed THIS tutorial:

And a ruffled tote bag for carrying my books to church (can you tell I’m obsessed with ruffles)? (TUTORIAL)

If anyone has any other ideas for something I should make (or something YOU’VE made), let me know! I’m always up for new ideas!

Wow, I can’t believe all the beautiful entries already over at I Heart Faces for the new monthly challenge. This month it’s “Beautiful Black and White.” So here’s one more photo from this weekend’s session. I LOVE how the contrast and texture in this photo lends itself to a dramatic black and white photo. A new favorite of mine.

Be sure to check out all the other entries HERE!

I had such a fun, candid photo shoot this past weekend. These two are getting married and both have such a fun, laid back personality. You’d never guess that we were FREEZING the whole time because they had both had huge smiles on their faces the whole time! Thanks M and R for a great time!

…this little guy! He certainly made us work to get these pictures! We had to pull out just about every trick in the book for this session. But it was totally worth it!
